What is
gate valve?
A gate valve is used to Shut off the Liquid Flow in a pipeline.
When the Gate is opened fully it restricts the Liquid Flow. Gate Valve doesn’t require
a lot of space, a very little space along the pipe is essential. A Gate Valve
consists of a Valve Body, Seat, a Disc, a wheel, a spindle, a gland for
operating the Valve. In Simple Words, A Gate valve is used for controlling the flow, pressure,
temperature and liquid levels by fully or partially opening or closing the
valve in response to signals received from the controller.
ADVANTAGES OF USING
GATE VALVES:

The Body of a Gate Valve is simple and easy to
Operate.

Gate Value is shorter in length than Globe Valve.

Gate Valve does not Disturb the Direction of the
Liquid Flow.

when Damaged and is also Costly.
